Our Team

Our History

Our History

We are bikers and outdoor athletes that believe everyone should have equal access to the outdoors. We recognize that we can't solve the problem until we admit there is a problem, and the problems is the outdoors has been very, very white. We are Riders Against Racism (RAR) and strive to diversify the outdoors.

Our History

Reading How To Be An Antiracist

by Ibram Kendi in the summer of 2020 resulted in some soul searching and passionate conversations between family, friends, colleagues and anyone willing to listen. This book helped us realize that talking about racism openly and honestly is important for the outdoor community.

Our Mission

Our History

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a community of antiracist mountain bikers, snowboarders, climbers, surfers and hikers. We raise awareness about the lack of diversity and inclusion in outdoor recreation while working as a team to fight racist policies. We raise money for marginalized groups and help outdoor athletes connect to a larger purpose.
